No compulsory redundancies in the armed forces EVER. - TopicsExpress

No compulsory redundancies in the armed forces EVER. Currently there are around 11,000 armed forces personnel in Scotland. As Independent country we would have around 15,000 armed forces personnel and 5,000 reservists. This means we would be hiring and not firing our forces. There is also a commitment to redundancies. You sign a contract to defend our country, then the Scottish govt will commit to you and never force a redundancy on YOU. Lastly we would have a significant maritime presence in OUR waters, which we have not had for years, including major surface vessels and air patrols. In the last 2 years the Russians have twice parked a large battleship off our NW Coastline near Aberdeen. On each instance it has take TWO DAYS before the the UK navy managed to send a ship from Portsmouth to escort it out of our waters. Still feel defended by the UK? https://youtube/watch?v=zEva3_RUlEs
