No fan of the Mail but for once I, like the paper, will not condemn the marine accused of murder. Having first hand knowledge of what goes on in Afghanistan........I have a family a member (Sgt. in the Marines) very badly maimed by an I.E.D.. I find it incredible that this came to trial......wake up M.O.D. you send these lads to war while you sit behind desks pontificating. War is a dirty business....perhaps you dont realise that! What I have said may upset some of my friends but if you could put yourself in the positions of these lads, (and they are our best front line troops) ambushed up to a dozen or more times a day and seeing things you can only imagine, you too would have a different opinion. To my mind their only mistake was leaving the camera on!!
