No high-fives More lollipop men have been banned from high-fiving children following the news that Bob Slade resigned after being ordered by Plymouth City Council to stop performing the gesture. Council officials in Warrington have called lollipop man Steve Allsopps gesture unprofessional and a distraction, while Roger Green was instructed by Bracknell Forest Council to abandon the practice in July. A Health and Safety Executive spokesman said: There is no regulation or guidance to do with health and safety issues that would affect this.
