No matter what I keep reading, I still respect police officers! i know that many times you can read about some officers poor choices but that is simply a small percentage. Please remember that in EVERY profession there are people who make very bad choices. I know too many officers that have been heroes! That is what I choose to acknowledge. They have to hug their families every night knowing it could very well be their last time. They sign up to die for others. I thank all emergency personnel. I thank you for your sacrifice. I will teach my children that you are friends and community helpers. So, yes, there are officers that abuse their power, and lawyers that lie, and doctors that are insensitive, and professional athletes that cheat, etc. However, rather than attack an entire profession, pray for those that are not making the right choices with the authority they have been given and dont forget the MANY who ARE. We are ALL Gods children and I will love you as such. Just my thoughts!
