No more Saturday Morning cartoons. Today was the last day. Ah well, they mostly sucked anyways. Heres my list, in no particular order, of my Top Five. I discount live-action stuff and Bugs Bunny. Only cartoons made specifically for kids hopped up on three bowls of Capn Crunch. The list: Johnny Quest (yes, originally a primetime show, but moved to Sat morning in 1967. Dont screw with ME, trivia dorks!) The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. Originally aired on weekday afternoons, then eventually migrated to Sat. The best. I can still watch there. The Herculoids. I dont know why. I just dug it. Alex Toth designs! Spider-man: Season 3. I dont know what the writers were taking, but this was the trippiest cartoon ever. Produced by Ralph Bakshi, who would then butcher Fritz the Cat! Josie & the Pussycats in Outer Space. The girls sing a lot. To aliens!
