No more blues for Lilly Three-year-old Manchester United fan Lilly Rae Doyle was all smiles this week after we invited her to Old Trafford to present her with this seasons blue third kit. Her reaction was in stark contrast to the footage of Lilly that spread across the internet late last week and captured the hearts of thousands around the world. In the video, United-mad Lilly is trying on her new school uniform and, through bouts of tears, complains its so, so blue. When we saw Lilly’s reaction we took to Twitter to reassure her that she could still be a Red and wear blue. The message was reaffirmed on Monday as Lilly paid us a visit at the Theatre of Dreams and posed for photos in the blue third kit with mum Faye Cummins and Fayes partner Andrew Mitchell. Lilly says shes learned to like blue now and has promised to wear her new shirt – featuring LILLY 7 on the back – when she attends Uniteds forthcoming home game against Hull City as a special guest of the club.
