No offense to anyone, but this is not a time for being overly sensitive about the situation of violence in our citys streets. When entire families young and old go from rallying behind their criminal relatives with Free Lil Baby Dookie Thuggin to having to attend the same individuals funeral within a few short months after his release...something is not right with our thinking. No need to reinvent the wheel. We all know what has worked in the past to bring our people together. Coming together as a community and taking action to not only volunteer our time to help the youth, but to vote in the leaders that will make the changes in the laws, organize to protest violence in our neighborhoods and put our tax money to work opening community centers to guide our youth in the right direction before the streets get a hold of them. We have to #BeTheChangeWeWantToSee!
