No one is immune to this.... I just watched the documentary Take Back Your Power and immediately ordered 100 copies. While I am very aware of the harmful effects of pulsed microwave radiation used in most wireless communication, this powerful and well researched documentary really grabbed my attention. What I wasnt so aware of was the almost unlimited ability governments and corporations will have spy on us once the Smart Grid is in place. When everything is connected to the internet (The Internet of Things) it will be possible to track our every movement in our homes: how often we go to the fridge, how much TV we watch, what rooms we use, etc etc.... This is a truly Orwellian scenario that is unfolding right under our noses. This is being sold to us as smart technology to make our lives easier - As the likes of Edward Snowden and Wikileaks have revealed, governments currently have no qualms about eavesdropping on their citizens phones calls or emails. Once smart houses have been connected to the smart grid we will effectively be living in a surveillance state where our every move can be followed and documented by governments and corporations in the name of national security or a better customer experience. This sounds like something out of a conspiracy movie, however, it is really happening. Smart meters for electricity are only the beginning of a much larger plan. Apart from the privacy issues, it is staggering that this technology is being imposed on us, like it or not, without proper testing of its health effects. In Victoria people are being told if they wont allow the installation of a smart meter on their property they will have their power cut! In the US police have been used to restrain and lock up housewives who tried to stop the installation of smart meters on their homes. In addition to Victoria all of the other Australian states and territories can look forward to the installation of Smart meters over the next few years unless we do something to stop it. On the other side, radiation experts and scientists (not employed by the Telecommunications industry) are categorically stating that pulsed microwave radiation is creating adverse health effects even at very low levels, and for some reason, smart meters are causing people even more health issues than mobile phones and Wi-Fi. The bottom-line is that you dont just have to be EHS (Electromagnetically Hypersensitive) to be affected by pulsed microwave radiation. Even if you are not aware of it, your cells are being bombarded with increasingly higher levels of pulsed RF, which have been shown over time, to suppress the immune system and cause a whole host of health issues. With a smart meter attached to your house you no longer have the choice to limit your exposure to pulsed RF radiation. From what I can see the telecommunications industry and Australian government have done a good sell job. Most of the population are embracing wireless technology, oblivious of the huge body of research dating back to the 1950s that shows that RF radiation has both short term and long term detrimental health effects. If you have any doubts about what I am saying or think I am some mad conspiracy theorist, I urge you to do your own research and watch Take Back Your Power.
