No permit news today. Mr. Winkler was in court. I was however able to talk to his #2 man. He informed me that due to Mr. Winkler being out last week and sick on Monday, that he is behind in reviewing plans. He stated I should expect to hear from him by Monday :-( I must admit, I like Mollys idea of dropping our dogs off to the township until we get that permit. Im sure Pebbles, Guinness, Lucy, the Wonder twins and all the others could help them get allot done! hehe On a side note, our temporary website should be up and live the end of next week; at which time I’ll post the url. The website will have all the nitty gritty on services, pricing, hours of operation, etc… Some exciting news is our Astro Turf was delivered today. The outdoor play area will be soft and cushiony reducing stress on joints and paws. It also eliminates dirt and mud, which keeps our dogs clean from drop off to pick up. Some additional benefits include antimicrobial, hypoallergenic and inorganic. Inorganic?? Let me explain. Natural grass is made of lots of living compounds which attracts bugs. Since the Astro Turf is synthetic, it can eliminate insect concerns including fleas and ticks. It is basically made of nothing that interests bugs. Due to its makeup, it is also hypoallergenic. This means that our tail-waggers with allergies or who are sensitive to grass, can enjoy playing without the concern of having an allergic reaction. So how is PIF staying ‘green’ by purchasing synthetic turf? We purchased recycled turf and will continue to support all efforts to reduce, reuse and recycle usable safe materials. In fact, our indoor rubber flooring is also recycled. The AstroTurf is just one of the many new things our parents and pups have to look forward to once opened. Thank you for your continued patience!!
