No picture today, but I have a funny story to share. Second day of school. It was one of those days...again. First class I have taught where no one is afraid of me. Not. One. Bit. First class I have taught where everyone is off task and have no personal boundaries in place. WOW! They are all like herding kittens. I spent the morning talking to myself inside my head and questioning my classroom management skills. And for another first: Im sitting in my chair, reading a story, when I feel a hand slide up my skirt and feeling my legs-calf area. I look down to see my student playing with my skirt, rubbing his face and hands all over it. I calmly say, personal space...this is my personal space. Hands to yourself. My student replies, teacher, your legs are soft I dont know if he is commenting on the just shaved legs or if they are fat. But he really liked the texture of my skirt! Ahhhhhh! But...my one VERY vocal loud student yelled out to the whole class while she was coloring, I LOVE THIS CLASS. I LOVE MY TEACHER. YOU ARE FUN! I must be doing something right.
