No pictures, sorry, but, I smoked a couple onions yesterday. Pat of butter, salt, pepper, and peeled onion, in aluminum foil. Smoked for an hour then an hour at 425 or so. The flavor was AMAZING. The onions went from, well, onion-y, to sweet and savory, with a texture nearly like butter. Like the onions in a pot-roast but smoky and sweeter and more intense. Not a meat success, but a great side.
