No recent fish recorded from the River Endrick not surprisingly. Chris Turner, Colin Ferguson and Robert McKinlay have been fishing the river despite the low water conditions. A few pulls, follows and fish rising to the fly as it lands from salmon and seatrout that came up in earlier spates(not many of those in last few months). Several small trout, chub, dace, roach have given the guys some sport at least. At last there is now some rain but at the moment its still not done much to rise the river. this morning wed 24th it had only risen about 3 inches from extreme summer low. not enough for more silver tourists to run up. However there have been some thundery downpours today and the forecast is for heavy rain showers coming in tomorrow. rain dance for the endrick anglers...tight lines...
