No signal at Wiseton today so here is what happened. Bilsthorpe won the toss on the hottest day of the year so far, so the skipper decided to bowl!!! (Cheers for that Kevin Wyatt) Wiseton now only have one team with the 1st team dropping out of division 1 last season and today being a mixture of there 1st and 2nd team clear signs of who were division 1 batsman were on show today, Wiseton reaching a total of 188-4 of 46 overs Great bowing by the skipper kev, bowling 13 overs 11 of them being maidens taking 1 wicket for 8 runs Chris Spittlehouse picking up 2-45 off his 13 overs tight bowling without any luck. Good supporting bowling from Thomas Massey not taking any wickets but generating some good pace. Richard Bramwell struggled with his line today understandably upset with his older self umpiring at his end. Alan Hall picking up 1 wicket for plenty! In reply Bilsthorpe lost two quick wickets, chris Spit and Alan Hall steadied the ship taking the score to 60 before chris was out f (the skipper was happy spit only played 1 defensive shot in his 10 overs out there 💪). Good supporting batting from Iggy Hallam and Ryan Durkin Unfortunately Bilsthorpe fell short by 81 runs all out for 107 Unlucky lads better luck next week
