No thanks to Motivation I dont think that this modern day super driven and motivated way of thinking is positive at all I know some of my friends get frustrated with me how I tease motivational stuff . Its all light hearted as they know but I never explain my thinking . I understand the human need to chase after winning and the success that society presents us . I just feel that there is such a fundamental flaw in our sub structures . Under these principles , having a society striving to be winners is all very well . That however makes 99 % percent of the people losers . The same can be said for success . In our current model of success and achievement , you literally have to climb to the top by stepping on everybody . Our model of success means that a few will be successful and most will be at the bottom fighting for scraps of a table of a fortunate few . I personally dont feel any longing to spend a lifetime chasing after the illusive carrot that society tells me will be a fulfilled life , specially considering that it traditionally means getting ahead of others . I will not play a game in which only a few are allowed to succeed . I think its backward and damaging , yet so ingrained in our thinking . Dont get me wrong there is nothing wrong with wanting and manifesting external physical things . I just cant support any kind of thinking that suggest we are in competition with each other . If we could get rid of the capitalistic us VS them kind of thinking it would be a massive step . Every part of our culture from money to sport pitts us up against each other . It has created a divide and separation in humanity that few seem to notice anymore . I dont think that this modern day super driven and motivated way of thinking is positive at all . I dont think these motivational sayings and ways of thought are helpful on the whole . I think its time we move beyond this us VS them kind of thinking . It is painfully clear to me if we all realize that if we work together and support each others initiatives , no matter what field, is that we in actual fact be no shortage of anything . We can in actual fact all be successful and winners All perceptions exist equally in the world , I am just sharing one . Perhaps we should think twice before we fill our lives and heads with Mantras and actions driven towards a life of winning and success ...... before who look deeper at what kind of costs this kind of thinking is doing to our society There are powerful , non ego based ways of achieving success that involve the upliftment of all I dont think we lack motivation , I think we lack perspective..... perspective free of this us VS them madness We truly are all one . I can find no joy in stamping any beneath me on my route to an illusionary , and most likely unfulfilled success goal . The only true success lies in the now , How you treat the world , its people and yourself in the eternal moment of now that keeps presenting itself to you . How can you ever balance any single successful moment , against the years of negativity and drama filled struggle that you spread into the world for the years coming up to that thing , that moment , that success that you so valued ! Just some thoughts
