No way to read this article without again reaching the conclusion that the Obama administration was actively seeking to harm Israel throughout Operation Protective Edge. Particularly when seen against the full spectrum of US betrayal during the war, it is all but impossible to reach the conclusion that the USs behavior in this instance owed to simple incompetence. But even if this was a simple case of incompetence, the consequences were so grave that the incompetence itself suffices to generate the conclusion that under the Obama administration, the US is not a credible actor or ally.
