STATEMENT ON THE SUBJECT On August 5, 2014, the applicant submitted the attached letter agreeing to shared amenities as recommended by the City’s housing staff. This programmatic change better aligns with City policies and staff is now in support of the affordable housing portion of the project as conditioned in the August 7, 2014 staff report [Housing Recommendation and Analysis (Exhibit E) and Resolution (Exhibit I)]. However, staff has determined that this project still does not meet the thresholds for a General Plan Amendment to the extent required and continues to recommend denial of the project.
