Nog iemand aan boort op Soektog na liefde, Michael Strydom. Hoor bietjie wat hy te sê het! Dankie Michael! Hi Everyone This is a project that ive recently gotten involved in. It is a local movie writeen, shot and created by locals of Witbank. This is a community project made out of a love for our fellow man, their struggles and their healing... there is no budget for it, everyone involved is doing this for the love and support of Edna Cane - who wrote the novel - and whom despite her struggles still fights the good fight and refuses to give up no matter how tough life can get. We went to school together as well so i can vouch for the sincerity of everyone involved. I met her sister Anne this weekend and have decided i would gladly join the ranks in making this happen. They have been reprimanded and told that they will NOT make this movie happen... so naturally, defiant little man i am, my mission is to be part of the force that will indeed MAKE this movie happen. Mackdarryl Tshimangu from Mackdarryl Productions has taken on the directing of the movie, numerous local musicians such as Stan Kruger - to name one - (including myself) are standing together with regards to the soundtrack and its development (Note of Interest - the SONGS for the movie were ALSO written by Edna Cane) and tan has had an invaluably HUGE hand in composition as well. Edna has put her heart and soul into this project and that kind of initiative i support fully!!! There are some amazing people involved as we speak and they are all aspiring towards getting this film out there. Witbank has a vast array of talent and ability and its high time our communities stand together to show the country what weve got. This is a great opportunity to be involved with your community and to make something potentially big out of it... Its a stepping stone to many more projects in my opinion and this will only mean anything if people can put their personal and professional differences aside and unite for a common cause.
