Noman- the animal story teller :) before I start the actual story, I want to tell you about Noman and his love or fascination with animals. Noman is my youngest son and he has a strange fascination for animals. From a very young age he used to love looking at animal books and toys. His first introduction to animals happened when he was only 12 months old and we stayed with my rotary host counsellor, Louise Watson , for few days. She gave him his very first stuffed toy -A kangroo (which he loved dearly). At her place he had his very first interaction with dogs and from then on he became a complete animal fan. We dont have any pet at our home but still he loves talking about animals, his favorite cartoons are those which have animals in it. he also love making stories about animals.....yes, at bed time it is usually Noman who is telling the story. All his stories are about animals e.g. crocodiles, tiger, lion or monkey--did I mentioned that Noman is not five yet but still he can concot a good animal story. So here is his version of Cinderalla story Noman: mama do you want to listen to a story, I have a very good one...it is about tigers :) Me: No, Noman I dont want to hear a tiger story, I want to hear a cinderalla story........ Noman: Is cinderalla a tiger? (Imagine that!!!) Me: No Noman she was a princess Noman: Ok!! so she has a ladybird as a friend Me: No Noman she doesnt have ladybird as a friend. Noman: what about crocodiles..... Me: Crocodile? what would she do with a crocodile....Noman!!!! cinderalla was a princess not an animal..... Noman: Oh.... Ok, I can tell you a story of cinderalla Me: Good....so whats the story Noman: there was a cinderalla, she went into a jungle there she saw a crocodile in the water... Me: Crocodile with cinderalla? Noman: No, it was a shark and not crocodile...well!! the shark came and ate cinderalla.... Me: What!!!!!! the shark ate the poor princess... Noman: (after watching my shocked reaction) well!! No what happened was that a super hero came and ate the shark and nothing happened to cinderalla.... Me: Oh!! good, good....then what happened? Noman: THE END !!!! Story finished...... Me: the end? Really? thats it???? Oh Boy!!! for few minutes I was hundred percent sure that it was shark who ate the super hero and cinderalla but at am guessing that after seeing my shocking reaction, Noman, the great story teller, changed his story as per my liking...
