Non-essential employees under the Governors jurisdiction who work in the Capitol Complex, the Harrisburg area, the Philadelphia and the Reading State office Buildings are authorized to be released three (3) hours before their normal quitting time on Tuesday, January 21, 2014. This early release is in accordance with the provisions of Management Directive 530.17, Partial and Full-Day Closings of State Offices. This includes all DOS work sites except the Pittsburgh and Scranton Regional Offices of BEI. If any Department of State employees are deemed essential and required to work during this office closing, they will be informed by their supervisor or manager. Please travel safely.
