Non-ethical and monopolistic practice by Microsoft! By this move, they are compelling the customers to buy new hardware too, because new version of Windows will not work on comparatively old PCs. This is a bad practice and cannot be supported, even in the name of upgradation. Upgradation is right, but not on the cost of customers who take good care of their hardware and whose use is limited, and are among who find it hard to spare money for purchasing a PC. Time to consider Linux in a big way. :)
