None of us like to struggle in life but sometimes we just need to remind ourselves that if we are followers of Jesus we must expect these obstacles. Satan hates our God. He hates Jesus Christ. He hates our faith. We need to be aware of the devils evil intentions. He wants us to lose the victors crown in this race we have entered into by faith through grace. When make the decision to walk with God we all have a moment when we answer the call of the Holy Spirit and determine to run this race and we intend to be a winner. We receive instructions along the way on how to get across the finish line. The Spirit tells us to throw off everything that would hinder us in the race. He tells us to be aware of the little sins and errors that could divert us from the will of God as we run. But the most important thing He tells us is to keep our eyes on Jesus, because He alone is our pacesetter and victorious example. Since we are surrounded by so many examples {of faith}, we must get rid of everything that slows us down, especially sin that distracts us. We must run the race that lies ahead of us and never give up. (Hebrews 12:1)
