Noosa Historic Hillclimb has been run and won again. What a brilliant event. Extremely well organised and run by the committee and all the officials . 9 runs at a Hillclimb of this type is a fantastic effort, undoubtedly helped by drivers co-operating by getting to the dummy grid on time and not having any major incidents. Congratulations Len Falknau. From my own point of view, i had a smile on face all weekend (ok maybe not after i had a 180 at turn 4 on Saturday) and had an absolute ball in my 2nd event back from a 4 year break and my first Noosa Historic since 2007. To come away with a win in my class was more than i could have expected and i am very pleased. Thanks to those who were so helpful in getting back on the track doing what i love. Thanks to my wonderful partner Toni Stavleu for her understanding, support and encouragement, thanks to all my mates for their pushing and especially to both Danny Mischok and Owen Burton who both have degrees in Sarcastic Nagging and Masters degrees in Friggin Annoying. Also to Paul Waller from Rallytorque for his patience, encouragent, brilliant workmanship and storage space. Most of all id like to thank my son Lewis Pitt for the massive amount of time and effort he put in to help me get the car back together. Fantastic to be back and hope to see a lot of you guys on track somewhere next year.
