Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. (Psalm 91:6) Faith in God draws the manifestation of God into our life (2 Pet. 1:3-4). Fear attracts the manifestation of the devil into our life Thus, fear empowers whatever is feared in the same way that faith empowers whatever we believe. Therefore, it behooves us to renounce, reject, and resist all fear of pestilence, sickness, plague, and disease. Surely we dont want to draw that stuff into (or keep it in) our life. Rather, we believe that Jesus is our Healer, and He has provided us with divine health, which we choose to receive and walk in. Pretty much whenever Jesus encountered sickness, disease, infirmity, and plague, He healed it. Jesus is the express image of God (Heb. 1:2-3). Want to know Gods will? Look at Jesus! What did He say and do concerning pestilence? He eradicated it! He made it bow, cast it out, and caused it to flee Jesus in us does the same. The Word of God made flesh, believed and acted upon in faith has the same results today. I am safe in the secret place, resting on the promises of God. I am protected in Christ, aggressively renewing my mind to His provision of health by the stripes on His back and His resurrection from the dead (Ps. 107:20; 1 Pet. 2:24). Therefore, Im not afraid of the dark, or anything walking or stalking around in it (John 14:1). Glory to Jesus! Christ Evangelical Mission in Pakistan (CEMP) Regd.
