Nora here ~ Why we dont put spaces in image file names. Today, I was working on a long term repair project on a site where file management was file mismanagement. The combination of lack of putting images in some kind of folder hierarchy was compounded by photos with spaces in the file names. One article that had a photo in it had a broken photo because the address looked like this: /images/FAQ/ Conservation%20Grade %20Character%20Knots %20Natural%20Unique %20Wood.jpg. The %20 is a code that some systems use to replace spaces.. In this case, the code broke the link (address) to the image in the browser.
