Normally I dont respond to editors who say no to books (unless I say thanks for the read, I appreciate it blah blah cause Im polite like that, really!) but I was devastated this time, my authors crushed, even the editor disappointed--the editors team ultimately turned it down--and the editor--who is a rockstar!--encouraged me to sell the book elsewhere and sell it *big* so they could smirk at those who said no (and I do have a good/friendly rapport with this editor) so with all this behind me, I didnt feel like a douchebag sending this as a reply (its meant as humor as well as a uh, yeah, that team of yours?
