Norman Fairclough writes Mass media play an important part in the construction of new- scales... this is done,he believes, through the dissemination of discourses, narratives, and ideas. This is applicable truly everywhere. so, Nepal cant be an exception.Current politics of Nepal is substantially mediated.Medias are extending the discourse and their narratives that there are only three political parties that go through competition so as to make their victory sure in CA election. By disseminating this discourse ,they are but ignoring other. This narrative of othering has really been conceived through the idea what Foucault says power and truth. But some times the discourse of the local( powerless) gains appropriation and media have to disseminate their discourse.In Nepals politics RPP Nepal is a point in case and is in the process of creating new scales ..this impetus comes from situational action from below.
