North Brisbane Storm Chasers Un official Warning - SEVERE WEATHER WARNING FOR HEAVY RAINFALL and POSSILBE FLASH FLOODING SOUTH EAST COAST AND DARLING DOWNS BRISBANE, SUNSHINE COAST, TOOMWARBA, SOUTHERN DOWNS, LOGAN CITY and the GOLD COAST Heavy areas of Rainfall has been observed on radar over recent hours, so it is necessary to issue a general Severe weather warning. Widespread areas of rain and storms are expected to continue overnight before clearing by 7am Sunday morning. Additional rainfall of up to 30 - 50mm is expected overnight, however this may multiply if you are under a thunderstorm or local area of heavy rainfall. With Heavy to moderate rainfall falling over the past several hours me may see some minor flooding/ Flash flooding of small rivers and streams from any additional heavy rainfall.
