Northeast Vietnam (9 Days) Trip length: 9 Days/ 8 nights by motorcycle Moderation: Adventure tour Highlights: Quang Ba Heavens Gate, Dong Van krst plateau Geopark, Meo Vac town, Ba Be National Park, Ban Gioc Waterfall, cultural life of hill Tribes: Tay, Nung, Hmong, Lo Lo, Pu Peo,...... Day 1: Hanoi - Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Breakfast at hotel Drive to Tuyen Quang Provice - via Tan Trao historical relics - a small valley, the interrim capital, where the Communist Party of the Viet Minh xere agreed in the National Peoples Congress meeting on ( 16/08/1945 ), elected interim government by Uncle Ho as Chairma Lunch en route at Tuyen Quang city. ( Tan Trao Historical relic) Continue driving to Ha Giang with stop to visit Tay hill tribes village and enjoy beautiful scene of rivers, forests and mountain of Northeast Vietnam. Check in hotel. Dinner and overnight in Ha Giang. Day 2. Ha Giang - Quang Ba - Yen Minh - Dong van For the local inhabitants, Dong Van karst plateau, with up to 60% of limestone exposures, is not only mighty scenary but also their cradle of life endowed to them from earth and heaven Dong Van karst plateau Geopark (to include Quang Ba - Yen Minh - Dong Van - Meo Vac, 4 mountainous districts of Ha Giang Province) Was recognised as the first global geopark of Vietnam since October 3rd, 2010 - make it a -must-visit place one in the life time. Lung Cu flag towewer Dong Van-Ha Giang After breafast at hotel we head north our of Ha Giang to Quang Ba via ( Quang Ba Heaven Gate ). Take 1,5hrs trekking aroung Na Khoang Village before proceeding to Yen Minh town for lunch. Continue with visit to Vuong Dynasty art architecture relics - a former palaceof Meo ( or Hmong ) Vuongs lordling, Back to Dong Van Town for dinner and accommodation. Day 3. Dong Van - Meo Vac. Morning go around the town to visit Dong Van ancient town and Dong Van market ( opens only on Sunday ) and visit two village of Hmong and Lo Lo hill tribes. Arriver to Meo Vac - which is inhabited mostly by the Hmong, Lo Lo and Pu Peo ethnic minority people who still retain ther centuries old cultural traditions and are recognizably distinct from each other by their costumes. Stop on the way at the famous Ma Pi Leng Pass at an altitude of over 2000 meters to admire the scenery typical of the region. Ma Pi Leng is one of the most enriched with clusters of karst cones, karst towers, karst piramids and continuous cliffs, which constitute an unmatched magnificant landscape, often refferred to as the top mighty scene Dinner and overnight in Meo Vac town. ( Dong Van To Meo Vac ) Day 4. Meo Vac - Bao Lac - Bac Me - Ba Be National Park We will depart Meo Vac for Ba Be National Park. On the way, we are crossing small villages of local hill tribes of Tay, Nung, Hmong, Dao, they are handicrafts and cultures villages, meeting the daily life in the wild environment. Lunch en route at local restaurant. Arrive in Ba Be in the afternoon, a boat trip will take us to Pac Ngoi Village of Tay tribe. Good dinner and overnight in a house on stilt. ( Ba Be Lake ) Day 5. Cruise on Ba Be Lake The legendary lake of Ba Be is just one continuous water body although the name means three lakes . After breakfast, we take a boat cruise down the Nang River which is the main water source of the lake, enjoy the tranquil of the nature and bio-diverity at Ba Be National Parkon on the wayto visit Ouong cave, Dau Dang Waterfalls and An Ma Island. We will have lunch in here. Then we will find the best place for swimming or take an easy hike to meet Ethnic people living along the lake. Return to Pac Ngoi village in late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in homestay ( Cruise on Ba Be Lake ) Day 6. Ba Be - Cao Bang - Pac Po Cave Leave Ba Be for Cao Bang city (120km) Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check in. After lunch at local restaurant, drive northern of Cao Bang city to Pac Po to visit the former headquarters of the Vietnamese revolutionaries. Here, Ho Chi Minh used to live in a cave nearby a beautiful stream in early1941, when he re-enterred Vietnam after 30 years of living abroad in search for ways to liberate the nation from French colonialism. Enjoy the beautiful lanscapes dotted with village of the Tay and Nung ethnic minorities. Back to Cao Bang in the late afternoon. Dinner and accommodation. ( Pac Po Hitstorical relic ) Day 7. Cao Bang - Ban Gioc Waterfall. Drive to Ban Gioc Waterfall - which shares the river border withChina via Trung Kanh with stop to visit handmade water reeling system of Nung tribe which help to bring water from the stream to the rice fields. Arrive Ban Gioc Waterfall, take a boat trip to the waterfall, where you will meet visitors from China, who also come here to enjoy the atmosphere of the famous waterfall on the same river. On the way back to Cao Bang, take short trek to visit Nguom Nao ca ve, a big and yet unexplored cave with extraordinary natural stalactites and stalagmites. ( Ban Gioc Waterfall ) Day 8. Cao Bang - Lang Son Toda, we drive from Cao Bang to Lang Son via Road 4A. Stop on the wey at Dong Khe lunch en route at Dong Khe town. Continue driving to Lang Son city via That Khe, Dong Dang. Arrive Lang Son in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Lang Son ( Tan Thanh Border gate and Dong Dang Temble ) Day 9. Lang Son - Ha Noi Have breakfast at Lang Son, we will come back Hanoi ( 156kh ) Dapart Lang Son for Bac Ninh city with boat trip to visit Cau river and Tho Ha pottery villaga - on among typical village of the Red river delta. Have lunch in here. Arriver Hanoi city in the afternoon ( Red River ) Noite: The most highlight of your Dong Van, Meo Vac trip.
