Northern Nights is honored to announce that we have received a Commended Award from the UK based A Greener Festival. AGreenerFestival Page (AGF) is a non-profit company committed to helping music and arts events and festivals around the world adopt environmentally efficient practices. With only four US festivals receiving awards, we are extremely proud to shine in the company of Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, Lightning in a Bottle, and Beloved Festival. #NNMF is committed to demonstrating sustainable practices. We are an impassioned group, determined to set industry precedent and lead by example. We utilize cutting edge light, sound and staging technologies. We donate a portion of each ticket sold to local schools. We support regional volunteer fire departments and other public services. Northern Nights works hard to educate and inspire festival attendees to experience a more sustainable lifestyle. We provide incentives and tools for all attendees to align with the sustainable ideals we promote. We could not be more proud of each person who contributed to the greening of Northern Nights. The extremely hard working GREEN TEAM deserves an extra special shout out for their inspirational teamwork, tireless work ethic and commitment to improving our community. And for each one of you who contributed by picking up someone elses trash, who led by example by carefully sorting your recycling, reminded your friends to thoroughly clean up your campsite, THANK YOU.
