Northumbria Blood Bikes - new additions to the fleet...cars! Following some extensive work by committee members behind the scenes, namely Richard Scholfield and Sean Storey, we are proud to announce we are now the proud owners of the following vehicles - a Skoda Yeti, purchased for us by ONeils solicitors in Gosforth, and a Renault Kangoo Van ( this one was a demo lent for the evening by our friends and supporters at Benfield Nissan ) and a pair of Nissan. Leafs provided by the Newcastle Hospital Trust. These will prove invaluable in the bad weather that is almost upon us when we are unable to ride the bikes safely, and the restrictions on carrying blood on bikes when the temperature falls below a certain level. The vehicles were on display at the recent open meeting held in Newcastle on the 11th December.
