Not Good News for our Country .. The rupee slumped to a record low below 68 per dollar and shares tumbled on Wednesday on growing worries that foreign investors will continue to sell out of a country facing stiff economic challenges and volatile global markets. The Indian unit recovered later. Indian gold futures, which hit a record high on Tuesday, are likely to touch the keenly watched 33,000 rupees per 10 grams mark this week, as a weakening rupee could continue to make the dollar-quoted yellow metal expensive.
