Not all of the travelling community are thieves so to say be prepared to be stole from is unfair propaganda which the local Hyacinth Bouquets (of which there are many in this village who deserve this title) will no doubt get behind to add to the woes. I had travellers a stones throw from my office for 2 whole weeks, the Police and jobsworths at the council were powerless to move them on to create the same issue for other people. Yes, they made a mess with dirty nappies and calor gas bottles rolling around but my new computers & telephone system worth ££££££s remained in situ. 2 weeks on from them moving on Im still awaiting the joke that is Warrington Borough Council to clean up the mess. I was told it would be a further 2 weeks before a refuse team could visit to clean up - I wonder if They would allow me to defer the payment of my business rates for 2 weeks whilst my office area is cleansed? Untidy headache YES but to stereotype all travellers as thieves NO - and by judging the brand new Range Rovers, Mercedes AMGs and state of the art caravans Ive witnessed first hand tonight, I doubt breaking into sheds to steal a BMX is high on their agenda.
