Not certain the why or the implications but we seemed to bump into the same people though days and even cities separated us from a previous meeting: On a train we met a brother and sister duo from Tulsa as we headed from Munich to Prague. Several days later we board the train to Vienna and there they are again sharing first class with us. In Prague, Jay and I board a dinner barge meeting people from Russia, Gibraltar, Australia and then we meet Jim and Beatrice Coleman from Ireland. A delightful elder couple, we laughed and took photos. So... several days later we are at the train station waiting to board the train to Vienna, when who shows up…Jim and Beatrice from Ireland! Already emailed them some photos of them on the dinner barge. We met an Egyptian couple in Prague while waiting for the Hop On Hop Off tour coach to return and pickup us up at Prague Castle. We chatted briefly and exchange names, thinking how cool to meet an Egyptian couple, given the recent issues there. Couple days later we are in Vienna and decide to take a Hop On Hop Off tour. Bus departs the Vienna Opera location, drives a little ways and makes the first of eight stops. We are sitting there and who boards the bus but the couple from Egypt. Anyway, both couples get off at the next stop to share a coke and coffee. We parted as friends; I emailed photos I took of them. So yes, the world is shrinking and we delighted in seeing people we thought we would never see again and then did.
