Not crochet but very important to those of us in the UK who sell online. I am not even pretending to understand most of it but I have to get my head around the Digital items bit as I need to comply with it. The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Payments) Regulations 2013 will be coming into effect from 13 June 2014. E-commerce businesses and other distance sellers will need to change the way in which they provide information to sellers and deal with cancellation rights. Here is a link to the new regulations. https://gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/265898/consumer-contracts-information-cancellation-and-additional-payments-regulations-2013.pdf This link is to help explain it. facebook/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Flegislation.gov.uk%2Fuksi%2F2013%2F3134%2Fcontents%2Fmade&h=VAQGp75Ir The following links are to help you understand the first two! tradingstandardsblog/consumer-contracts-information-cancellation-and-additional-payments-regulations-consultation-part-1/ prettys.co.uk/articles/commercial/online-retailers-are-you-ready-june-2014/ stevens-bolton/uploads/changes-to-consumer-law-in-the-uk.pdf Maybe, between us, we can come up with terms and conditions to add to our sites and ways to comply with the new regulations.
