Not every athlete is strong enough to perform a kipping movement. We take great pride in developing foundational strength before allowing athletes to do movements that tax our bodies like the kip. Inga is performing a kipping knees to chest. We allow this small controlled kip for athletes to make this movement more efficient during a wod. Once she develops greater strength levels we will allow her to increase the range of the kip and eventually turn it into a knees to elbow or toes 2 bar. Strict pull ups and handstand push-ups will be a precursor though.
