Not everyone understand why someone like me loves being a designer. Here is a note a design friend sent me.... ----------------- @Derrick Design is considered frivolous, especially to people who dont know entirely what it entails and where it ends up. People that look around the grocery store or a book shop or ANY store dont realize that those packages, those book covers, that box of cereal they dont just happen. Someone created that. So for people who dont get what it is we do, yeah negativity kind of runs deep. But for those who do (my amazing mom now has a whole new perspective on everything she purchases) they appreciate and support the work of a designer. And in the end, someone has to make it. Why shouldnt it be me?
