Not everything I catch is dangerous or scary. I had just finished catching 3 large breeding carpet pythons and was on my way out the owners driveway when I nearly ran over this little guy. I stopped to move him off the road and ended up getting this selfie and another photo of him sitting on my knee. Its a Bearded Dragon. I used to see heaps of these guys around but a lot less these days. I think due to increasing habitat destruction, dog and cat attacks and accidents with vehicles, numbers in residential areas are certainly dropping. Please be careful on the roads to avoid these guys and any other animals. Also if you can try and stop your cats and dogs from getting to them you will be able to save an awesome little animal. Im interested to hear from anyone who follows my posts if you have seen any of these around on the Sunshine Coast lately.
