Not happy when a teacher informs you that the one and only piece you were excited about, eager and actually proud to exhibit in the VCA Grad Gallery wont be chosen to be hung because its too big and would be unfair to display it due to the dimensions. Why not give us dimensions to work with when first discussing the grad show with us then? Why tell us we can submit up to (i think) 7 pieces but when i want to submit 1 it cant be done, even though I said i would be fine counting my one large piece as 3 different just to get it up there. Highly disappointed with this whole situation. You work so damn hard all semester on a piece that youre proud to graduate with and I cant even show my family my accomplishments in an appropriate setting?
