Not like me to have a Facebook rant BUT... if you need to get your passport renewed this year, make sure you allow 6 weeks not the 3 weeks that the Post Office check and send service suggests. I applied 4 weeks ago and havent managed to get mine delivered in time (despite 7 calls requesting call backs for an upgrade - only one of which was fulfilled 5 days later) to join Michael Symons James Mead and Nikos Lemanis on the plane to Bucharest tomorrow. However, I will be joining you for a few beers ASAP!!
