Not long ago I wrote a piece where I said that “the President of the United States did not stand for America because it was clear that he didn’t love America, its people, or our way of life. I said that with every breath, he sought to dismantle her, with every law, he sought to bind her, and with every emotion he sought to turn his back on her and destroy that which she represents here at home, and around the world.” Unfortunately, there was one individual, perhaps even others, that felt my statement was a little off base, because there was no way an American President could feel that way about America, it’s people, and our way of life. What’s truly unfortunate is that this individual, who has a right to his opinion just like anyone else, spoke from ‘emotion’ rather than fact, and therein lies the single biggest reason why America is where it is today. For example; Would a President that truly loves America, seek to ‘remake’ her in the image that he desires, or would he seek to protect and preserve that which the Founders and Framers so freely gave their support to, with “a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, mutually pledging to each other their Lives, Fortunes and sacred Honor?” Would that President blame America for world problems, or stand strong on her values and principles and proclaim America as a beacon of Freedom for the world to replicate, and would a President that loves America, rather than build her up economically, make every attempt to destroy the Free Market system that is the cog that turns her wheels of commerce? Lastly, would a President that truly loves America, embrace our enemies, deny us our Freedoms, challenge our Liberties and encourage more of America to be dependent upon him, rather than upon themselves? I think not! Would a President that truly loves the American people and our way of life, instead of bringing us together be so divisive, ‘systematically and purposely’ dividing blacks from whites and the haves from the have not’s? Would he further separate our government, the Democrats from Republicans, so nothing gets done, to make intervention by Executive Order his only solution, and would he separate private property from its rightful owners, because he believes that which they worked so hard for doesn’t really belong to them? Or, would he, with constitutionally based common sense solutions seek to empower rather than enable, encouraging all that that are mentally and physically capable, to take personal responsibility for themselves and their families, rather than depend upon that which they haven’t earned? Again, I think not! I assure you, my mission in life is not to demean and/or degrade politicians and the President of the United States, but rather, to share the talents and skills that God has created me with, to make a living for myself, my family, and those that works so hard and play such a huge part in our success, and in the meantime, if I can offer an opinion based upon fact that causes people to think twice before buying into something they may regret later, then so be it, my mission is accomplished.
