Not long back from a walk around Beechmount, Springfield and broad way, when at broadway there was one arrest, nine jeeps to arrest one man who they said had a petrol bomb, but the man had nothing in his hand but a pizza box, residents tried arguing with the RUC/PSNI who all had English accent, when we asked why the man was under arrest the RUC/PSNI got very aggressive with us, I looked about the ground where the man stood and there was no bottle or smell of petrol. The area is quite with crowds of people who are mainly there to observe, there is a heavy police presents within the mid falls area, with 4 to 5 jeeps patrolling the streets. yet again we have harassment of people within our communities while a triumphalist fuelled festival continues late into the night.
