Not one article is actually giving all the facts, I did already contribute to my health insurance, even if it wasnt much, now Ill be spending $313.05 a paycheck to keep the coverage I have for myself and my family. Thats over $8100 a year... much higher than the $2400 this article reports, but apparently its not a pay cut. Get out and vote on November 4th for #TomWolf, who supports education, and wants to end the political control of a school district that is attacking and vilifying teachers and unions. I didnt cause the budget deficit with my measly salary and either did any of my fellow teachers. Mismanagement starts at the top, look at their salaries that are 2 to 6 times that of the average Philadelphia teacher.
