Not one person on this earth has immunity to depression. Some people are fortunate enough to battle it and some are not. My birth mother committed suicide due to depression. She had support beyond measure but was unable to find her way out. I too suffer from depression but am able to get up everyday and realize my self worth to my family and friends. I have help. I have every reason in the world to live. Depression is an actual illness and it is not something that can be tossed aside or ignored because others may not understand.
