Not only is this spot on, but replace tuition with healthcare costs and easy guaranteed credit with health insurance and you will understand why healthcare costs have skyrocketed second only to college tuition. Colleges and healthcare providers need to start to compete on the cost and value and quality of the services they provide. By who can blame them....why wouldnt they take the billions and billions we give them so easily? When we Americans can obtain something without a direct link to our pocket book, we consume like hogs with no regard for other long term financial impact or even regards for quality of the services we consume.
