Not perfect by any stretch, but a step in the right direction. Glad to see teachers will not have to absorb increases in health insurance costs and glad to see most will receive a bonus. Moving forward, the district must come up with a plan to attract and retain the best teachers and leaders. You do this by treating people with respect, making sure every school is a great place to work, and by having competitive salaries.
