Not practicing anything that we preach or post is a tragedy. The effect of knowing but “haven’t had the time to put it into practice” would be something not easily repairable. What scares me the most is learning more about Islam but not acting upon it. If you think about it, we’ll be held accountable for every hadith, every ayah and every pearl of wisdom we learn. We will be questioned on why we didn’t implement all these quotes, ayats and ahadith we posts and share. There will come a Day when there’s no seeking refuge in ignorance and saying we didn’t know. Allah will ask us why we didn’t hear and obey Him. InshaaAllah each and every one of us constantly asks for forgiveness for the knowledge we acquire but forget and fail to act upon. So whenever you post something, always, always, always be sure to check your intentions. Ensure your actions both online and offline are for the sake of Allah and Him alone, and that you too act upon what you have shared with others. This is first and foremost a reminder to myself.
