Not real happy about my post getting deleted. In fact, Ive spent most of the night dealing with that subject. Bottom line, Schooners is responsible for everything and everyone that participates in events. We to date have hosted over 85 benefits and have raised close to $200,000 for people in need. There are times for various reasons I have to step in on event pages and make a statement. If and when I do, be advised that if you are a host, do not delete my post. In almost every case, the host adds me as a host so that I can help out, moderate or do anything that is required by Schooners. In this case it didnt happen, which in turn allowed my post to be deleted. We do our utmost to make sure there is accountability for all money received. If there is ever anyone that wants to be involved with an event at Schooners that takes responsibility for any part of cash donations or donated items, we do our best to make sure they are capable of not only providing accountability for that money, we also must be able to say without a doubt that we trust them. Quite frankly Ive never had to make this kind of statement before, but this is the first time Ive had what I posted deleted. Carl, we love you!
