Not so funny story; yesterday, I ran into a guy outside of the Salvation Army store. Hes wearing a army fatigue jacket and a Vietnam Veteran hat. We start talking. He says something about his spotter. I say, Spotter? What did you do? He says I was a sniper. I said, Really? Small world. So was I. What rifle did you use? He says Oh, some kind of 30-06. (Red flag number one.Any sniper knows EXACTLY what rifle they used....) I said, Oh? What model? He says, Oh, I really cant remember. But I was so upset that they wouldnt let me take my rifle home from Nam. I says, Oh, I used a M21, a modified M-14 with a scope. And later, I used a Barrett .50 cal some. He says, Yeah. I loved that Barrett. I was so upset when they wouldnt let me bring it home from Nam. Im thinking, Thats pretty unusual. seeing that the Barrett didnt come out until 1985.... Whats the chance that hes just a wannabe poser? Im thinking 150%..... ;-)
