Not sure exactly if its too late. My 98 z28 a4 is just rolling over 92000 miles, and I am not sure if the transmission fluid has ever been changed. I have had it for just over 12000 miles, and have not changed it in that time. How can I go about checking to see if the fluid is too worn down to change? I have read horror stories about people who never change the fluid and the day after they do, the transmission going out.
