Not sure how I feel about this, but I did laugh. Artist friends (or anyone), pls share your thoughts re Banksys employment of media images and Kincades exploitation of comfort food images. Both huge commercial success stories. (Yes, Bansky is, now that folks have figured out ways to get his work off public blgs.) The more I go along the less disdain I feel for Kincades work. Its not to my taste, but I dont feel quite so judgmental. Both using loaded images to either make us think or make us comfortable ie secure (artificially) in a frighting universe. Both succeed - my 2 sense. ;)
